He was born on January 4th, 1969 in Bamberg, West Germany, and grew up in Schlüsselfeld, Upper Franconia, with his parents and brother.
Schaller was not a good student and remained in the ninth grade. He completed his training as a retail salesman in Schlüsselfeld and took over his first Edeka supermarket at the age of 22.
Life
In 1997, he switched to the fitness industry and started his first studio under the McFit brand.
Schaller's RSG Group empire had a reported net worth of around US$250 million in 2022.
He was never married but was in a relationship with Christiane Schikorsky and the couple had two children together, Aaron and Finja.
Schaller and his son Aaron died in a private plane crash in Costa Rica on October 21, 2022.
